Softball Recap: Tigard Picks Up Fourth Straight Win at Home

Tigard hadn't done well against Oregon City recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Tigers had just enough and edged out the Pioneers 4-3. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last three times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Tigard pushed their record up to 13-10 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Oregon City, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-13.
