Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Marlboro). They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over the Manalapan Braves on Tuesday. Marlboro have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw Manalapan, too.

Coming up, Marlboro will head out to take on Toms River North on Monday. Toms River North's last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Manalapan, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 6-0 victory against Freehold Boro on the 3rd.
