Currituck County has gone a perfect 10-0 against Northeastern recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Knights will head out on the road to take on the Eagles at 5:30 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Currituck County proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by three) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over First Flight.

Currituck County had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 21-25, 22-25, 25-21, 25-21, 15-10.

Meanwhile, Northeastern got the win against Pasquotank County on Thursday by a conclusive 3-0.

One reason for the win was Northeastern's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-18, 25-16.

Currituck County has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-11 record this season. As for Northeastern, their record now sits at 5-10.

Currituck County was able to grind out a solid win over Northeastern when the teams last played on September 11th, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Knights since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
