Soccer Game Preview: Hancock vs. Pascagoula

The Hancock Hawks will venture away from home to square off against the Pascagoula Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hancock will be strutting in after a win while Pascagoula will be coming in after a loss.

Hancock will roll into the match after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up one goal on Tuesday, then bounced right back against West Harrison on Friday. Hancock put the hurt on West Harrison with a sharp 4-0 victory. The Hawks better thank their lucky stars for the performance of Sam Powell, as he scored every single goal for his team.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Pascagoula duked it out withLong Beach on Friday. Pascagoula fell just short of Long Beach by a score of 1-0. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Pascagoula's defeat dropped their record down to 5-8-1. As for Hancock, their win bumped their record up to 7-9-1.

Hancock came up short against Pascagoula in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, falling 2-0. Can Hancock avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
