Basketball Recap: Guilderland Takes a Loss

Guilderland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Shaker Bison, falling 69-31. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Flying Dutchmen of the 68-38 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2023.

Guilderland's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Shaker, their win was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-0.

Guilderland didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 53-42 defeat against Averill Park on the 14th. As for Shaker, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 70-59 victory against Kingston on the 15th.
