Softball Game Preview: Ramsey Rams vs. Hunterdon Central Red Devils

The Ramsey Rams will take on the Hunterdon Central Red Devils at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Both teams are coming into the matchup red-hot, with Ramsey sitting on 15 straight victories and Hunterdon Central on four.

On Monday, Ramsey made easy work of Westwood and carried off a 17-8 win. Considering the Rams have won 17 games by more than six runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Hunterdon Central sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over Ridge on Monday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Red Devils have posted against the Red Devil since May 4, 2017.

The team relied heavily on Cam Tucker, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases and one run. Those two stolen bases gave her a new career-high.

Hunterdon Central now has a winning record of 15-14. As for Ramsey, their victory bumped their record up to 20-3.
