Football Recap: Fort Bend Bush Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Fort Bend Bush can now relate to. They took a blow against the Shadow Creek Sharks on Friday, falling 57-13. The matchup marked the Broncos' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Although Fort Bend Bush took the loss, they still got scores from Anthony Poe and Quincey McCall.

Shadow Creek's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was B.J. LaFell, who rushed for 99 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only five carries. Another signal caller making a difference was Tavis Coleman, who threw for 158 yards and three TDs while completing 77.8% of his passes.

Fort Bend Bush's loss dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Shadow Creek, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.
