Recap: South Adams Starfires vs. Bluffton Tigers
The South Adams Starfires lost against the Bluffton Tigers back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. South Adams took a 45-39 hit to the loss column at the hands of Bluffton. South Adams has not had much luck with Bluffton recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Despite the defeat, South Adams saw an underclassman step up: Tytus Lehman scored 23 points along with 8 rebounds and 3 steals. The matchup was Lehman's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Owen Wanner, who scored 10 points.
South Adams now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Bluffton, the win got them back to even at 1-1.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. South Adams will take on Winchester Community at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Bluffton, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Lakeland Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
