In other batting news, Jordan Montemayor was incredible, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. Rjay Garza was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with five RBI, one run, and one double.
Othello always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .667. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Othello pushed their record up to 4-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.7 runs over those games. As for Prosser, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.
