Curtis extended their winning streak to six on Friday, bumping their season record up to 14-6 in the process. They put the hurt on the Peninsula Seahawks with a sharp 12-2 win. The Vikings have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Seahawks, too.

As for Peninsula, their loss dropped their record down to 13-7-1. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for they, who until this contest were averaging 2.57 runs allowed.

For Peninsula's part, Kaleb Copeland made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI.

Coming up, Curtis will venture away from home to square off against Puyallup at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Puyallup will roll in looking for their 22nd straight victory, something Curtis surely won't give up without a fight. Peninsula does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
