Baseball Recap: Wabash Takes a Loss

Wabash was the 2-0 winner over Oak Hill when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Apaches fell just short of the Golden Eagles by a score of 5-4 on Monday.

Derek Reed was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one triple and one run. That triple was his first of the season. Keaton Lane was another key player, scoring a run while going 1-for-1.

Wabash dropped their record down to 2-3 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Oak Hill, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wabash will challenge Bluffton at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Oak Hill, they will face off against Taylor at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
