Volleyball Recap: Pojoaque Valley Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Pojoaque Valley lost against Belen back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Elks/Elkettes came up short against the Eagles, falling 3-0. The Elks/Elkettes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Pojoaque Valley was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-23, 25-16.

Shyla Rocha had a dynamite game For Belen., getting 28 digs and seven assists. Those 28 digs gave Rocha a new career-high.

Pojoaque Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Belen, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-2.

Looking ahead, Pojoaque Valley will challenge Oak Grove Classical Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Belen, they will take on Rio Grande at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
