Fairland had already won 13 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 16.6 points) and they went ahead and made it 14 on Wednesday. They came within six points of losing the streak, but they secured a 68-62 W against the Chesapeake Panthers. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 55-49 last Friday.

Fairland's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Brody Buchanan led the charge by going 6-for-11 from beyond the arc to rack up 35 points. The game was Buchanan's third in a row with at least 23 points. Another player making a difference was Cliff Fransen, who posted 15 points and six rebounds.

Fairland pushed their record up to 20-1 with the victory, which was their ninth straight on the road. As for Chesapeake, their defeat dropped their record down to 19-3.

Fairland does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Chesapeake, they will look to defend their home court on February 21st against Alexander at 7:00 p.m.
