South Hunterdon had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They blew past the Manville Mustangs 14-4 on Tuesday. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Eagles' hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.

South Hunterdon's victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 2-3. As for Manville, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-6.

Manville wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 14-13 loss against Warren County Tech on the 16th. Hopefully South Hunterdon payed attention to the Mustangs' matchup: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Mustangs at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
