Aberdeen Central's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Yankton Bucks/Gazelles. The Golden Eagles haven't had any issues with the Bucks/Gazelles recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Lauryn Burckhard paced Aberdeen Central's offense, picking up 15 kills. Burckhard got some help from Camryn Albrecht and her 18 assists. Taylin Kleffman controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Aberdeen Central's victory bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Yankton, their loss was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 4-9.

Aberdeen Central wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against O'Gorman on the 29th. As for Yankton, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Jefferson on the 30th.
