Baseball Recap: Many Takes a Loss

Many was the 3-0 winner over Lakeside when they last played one another back in February of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Many Tigers fell 4-1 to the Lakeside Warriors on Thursday.

Many saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brock Sylvia, who scored a run while going 1-for-3. Ryder Gunter also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Many has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-7 record this season. The win made it two in a row for Lakeside and bumps their season record up to 5-7.

While Many had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
