Recap: Honoka'a Dragons vs. Pahoa Daggers
It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the Honoka'a Dragons can now relate to. They took a 52-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Daggers on Tuesday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Honoka'a has scored all season.
Pahoa was led to victory by Hunter Paio and Kyran Canete. Paio scored 11 points along with eight rebounds and three steals, while Canete scored 26 points along with three steals. That makes it four consecutive games in which Canete has scored at least a third of Pahoa's points.
This is the second loss in a row for Honoka'a and nudges their season record down to 8-7. As for Pahoa, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season.
Honoka'a does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Pahoa also has no future games currently scheduled.
