Volleyball Recap: Williamsburg Comes Up Short

Williamsburg lost against Claysburg-Kimmel back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Blue Pirates fell 3-1 to the Bulldogs.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Claysburg-Kimmel scored at least 17 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-22, 20-25, 25-18.

Williamsburg's loss was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Claysburg-Kimmel, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-3.

Williamsburg didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Moshannon Valley on the 11th. As for Claysburg-Kimmel, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Mount Union on the 11th.
