Basketball Recap: Granbury Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Granbury's game last Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They walked away with a 61-49 win over the Richland Royals. The Pirates have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Royals, too.

With the victory, Granbury broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 8-9. As for Richland, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-6.

Granbury will take on Cooper in a tournament on Thursday. As for Richland, they will be taking part in a tournament against University at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday.
