 Los Gatos is 5-0 against Fremont since April of 2021, and they'll have a chance to extend that success  on Wednesday. The Los Gatos Wildcats will head out on the road to  face off against  the Fremont Firebirds at 4:00  p.m. Los Gatos is looking to tack on another W to their five-game streak on the road dating back to last season.
 Los Gatos lost  8-1 to Saint Francis on Monday. Los Gatos has not had much luck with Saint Francis recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
 Meanwhile, Fremont was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Monday as the team picked up their third straight  loss. They fell just short of Milpitas by a score of  8-6.
  Kira Adams made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and  scored a  run while going 2-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of  Natalie Kim, who  scored two  runs while going 2-for-4.
 Even though they lost, Fremont  hit smart and  finished the game with only two  strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Milpitas struck out seven times.
 Los Gatos' record is now 15-6. As for Fremont, their record is now 4-13.
Fremont's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them:  Los Gatos hasn't had any issues making contact this season,  having earned a batting average of .313. It's a different story for Fremont, though, as  they've  only  averaged .247. Will they be able to contain Los Gatos' hitters?
