There's no place like home for Saguaro, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Marcos de Niza Padres on Tuesday, sneaking past 5-3. The Sabercats have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Padres, too.

Malina Morones made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching six innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits. Morones was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

In other batting news, Hailey Holliday was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two doubles, one stolen base, and two RBI. That's the most doubles she has posted since back in March. Alexa Simpson was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Saguaro's victory bumped their record up to 10-13. As for Marcos de Niza, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-4.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Saguaro beat the Padres by a score of 24-3 on Thursday.
