Basketball Recap: North Pitt Comes Up Short

North Pitt was the 44-33 winner over Farmville Central when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The North Pitt Panthers lost to the Farmville Central Jaguars on the road by a 50-32 margin on Friday. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Farmville Central got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Madison Denham out in front who almost dropped a double-double with 13 points and nine rebounds. The dominant performance also gave Denham a new career-high in shooting accuracy (60%). Ari'Yannah Brooks was another key player, putting up 11 points.

North Pitt's defeat dropped their record down to 10-14. As for Farmville Central, their victory bumped their record up to 8-11.

As of now, neither North Pitt nor Farmville Central have any future games scheduled.
