Basketball Recap: Coral Reef Comes Up Short on the Road Against South Dade

Coral Reef had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell just short of the South Dade Buccaneers by a score of 45-43 on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Barracudas have suffered since November 19, 2024.

South Dade has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Looking ahead, Coral Reef will venture away from home to face off against Miami Beach at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for South Dade, they will welcome Southwest at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Buccaneers' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
