Basketball Game Preview: Strathmore Spartans vs. Granite Hills Grizzlies

The Strathmore Spartans will venture away from home to square off against the Granite Hills Grizzlies at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Strathmore has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.

Strathmore is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They came out on top against Santa Maria by a score of 77-69.

Exeter typically has all the answers at home, but on Friday Granite Hills proved too difficult a challenge. They managed a 45-41 win over the Monarchs. Winning may never get old, but the Grizzlies sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Strathmore has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 20-11 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.8 points over those games. Granite Hills' victory bumped their record up to 22-10.

Strathmore came out on top in a nail-biter against Granite Hills in their previous matchup on February 10th, sneaking past 50-47. The rematch might be a little tougher for Strathmore since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
