Recap: Ganado Indians vs. Flatonia Bulldogs
The Ganado Indians's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They were beaten by Flatonia 62-19. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Ganado in their matchups with Flatonia: they've now lost four in a row.
Ganado used a three-pronged attack on offense:
Aileen Zavala,
Avery Torres, and
Paisley Hajovsky posted three points each.
Laci Holt held things down on the boards with five rebounds. She took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with two assists.
Ganado has not been sharp recently, as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-17 record this season. As for Flatonia, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 25-4.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ganado will take on Schulenburg at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Schulenburg focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 31 last Friday. As for Flatonia, they will be playing at home against Bloomington at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
