Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask West Hills). They breezed by the Grossmont Foothillers to the tune of 83-50 on Friday. The Wolf Pack have beaten the Foothillers the last six times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Foothillers has come to flipping the script.

West Hills' win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Malekai Dillon, who went 8 of 13 on his way to 21 points and six rebounds. Ethan Shaw was another key player, almost dropping a double-double on 12 points and nine assists.

West Hills was working as a unit and finished the game with 20 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since the start of last season.

West Hills' victory bumped their record up to 12-14. As for Grossmont, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost ten of their last 11 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-22 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West Hills will welcome Valhalla at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Valhalla knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past nine contests -- so hopefully West Hills likes a good challenge. As for Grossmont, they will challenge Santana at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Grossmont is facing Santana at the right time seeing as Santana is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
