Volleyball Game Preview: Brave Christian Lions vs. Head-Royce Jayhawks

Brave Christian hasn't had much luck against Head-Royce recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Lions will venture away from home to square off against the Jayhawks at 4:30 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

It was a proper cat-fight when Brave Christian duked it out with Quarry Lane on Friday. The Lions lost 3-0 to the Cougars.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-9, 25-19.

Meanwhile, Head-Royce came up short against Albany on Thursday and fell 3-1. While the Jayhawks didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Cougars 25-19 in the first set.

Head-Royce started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 19-25, 29-27, 25-18, 25-20.

Head-Royce's loss dropped their record down to 11-6. As for Brave Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-6.

Brave Christian might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Head-Royce in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. Can the Lions avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
