Soccer Game Recap: Robinson vs. Gateway

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Robinson Knights had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They beat the Eagles by a goal, winning 3-2. The win was nothing new for Robinson as they're now sitting on five straight.

They were led to victory by the tag-team duo of Jay Maurer and Jackson Guinn, who scored all three of Robinson's goals. The pair have combined for a total of 13 so far this season.

Robinson's victory bumped their record up to 11-8-3. As for Gateway, their loss dropped their record down to 11-4-3.

Robinson didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 1-0 defeat vs. DeSoto County on the 9th. Gateway does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
