St. Edward's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They blew past Chicago Hope Academy 7-0. The result was nothing new for St. Edward, who have now won four games by three goals or more so far this season.

They hit Chicago Hope Academy with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Joslyn Hidalgo (3), Teresa Osburn (2), Erica Scheider, and Amalia Villanueva.

St. Edward's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-8. As for Chicago Hope Academy, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.

Coming up, St. Edward will take on Proviso East in a tournament on Sunday. St. Edward will be up against Proviso East's rather soft defense (which has allowed 3.58 goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Chicago Hope Academy, they will head out to take on Cristo Rey Jesuit at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
