Football Game Preview: S & S Consolidated Rams vs. Bells Panthers + How To Watch

S & S Consolidated hasn't had much luck against Bells recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Rams will welcome the Panthers at 7:30 p.m. S & S Consolidated has given up an average of 38.3 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

S & S Consolidated is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against Leonard on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Rams were dealt a 56-27 defeat at the hands of the Tigers. The Rams were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-6.

S & S Consolidated might have lost, but man, Hunter Courville was a machine: he rushed for 171 yards and one touchdown on only 15 carries, and also threw for 153 yards and a pair of TDs. The Rams are 2-1 when Courville posts 80 or more rushing yards, but 0-4 otherwise. Jayden Vega was another key player, rushing for 88 yards and one score on only six carries.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Bells took on Blue Ridge on Friday. The Panthers enjoyed a cozy 45-28 win over the Tigers. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Panthers.

This one was won in the trenches and the lion's share of the credit has to go to Jaxon Brown and Easton Branam. Brown rushed for 201 yards and a pair of touchdowns while Branam rushed for 124 yards and two TDs on only 13 carries. That's the most rushing yards Branam has posted since back in November of 2024.

Bells was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 376 rushing yards. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their rushing yard total in three consecutive games.

Bells' defense made their presence known, laying out the QB three times. Caden King was especially locked on to Blue Ridge's QB and sacked him twice.

Bells' victory bumped their record up to 3-5. As for S & S Consolidated, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5.
