Basketball Recap: Marlboro County's Win Ends Nine-Game Losing Streak on the Road

If Chesterfield wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Marlboro County, they should've done a better job of containing Iyanna Boatwright. The Marlboro County Bulldogs secured a 41-37 W over the Chesterfield Golden Rams on Wednesday thanks in part to Boatwright, who dropped a triple-double on 17 points, ten rebounds, and 11 steals. Boatwright is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season.

Another player making a difference was London Dudley, who posted eight points and 12 rebounds. Those 12 boards gave her a new career-high.

Chesterfield's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Reagan Rivers, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 12 boards. With that strong performance, Rivers is now averaging an impressive 8.2 rebounds per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Temia Chapman, who earned 13 points and five rebounds.
