Softball Recap: South Point Red Raiders vs. Lincolnton Wolves
South Point waltzed into their match on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They blew past the Lincolnton Wolves 18-3. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 10-0 two weeks ago.
Stella Absher was a major factor no matter where she played. She struck out six batters over five innings while giving up three earned runs off only two hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in seven consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.
