Football Recap: Tornillo Comes Up Short

Tornillo lost against Cathedral back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Coyotes were dealt a 42-2 loss at the hands of the Fighting Irish.

The critical scores for Cathedral came from Pedro Chavez, Jack Ivey, Kevin Flores, Jesus Arroyo, Miguel Selbach, and David Angel Monks.

Tornillo's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Cathedral, their win bumped their record up to 2-3.

Tornillo does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Cathedral, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Covenant at 7:00 p.m. on the 17th.
