Baseball Game Preview: Brunswick Blue Devils vs. Medina Bees

For the second straight game, Brunswick will face off against Medina. The Blue Devils will be playing in front of their home fans against the Bees at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Brunswick has struggled recently with four defeats in a row, while Medina will arrive with eight straight wins.

The home team had won the previous four meetings between Brunswick and Medina, and Medina kept the tradition alive. The Blue Devils fell just short of the Bees by a score of 2-1 on Monday.

Jackson Briggs was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he tossed six innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits. That's the fewest hits he has allowed since back in April.

On the hitting side, Brunswick saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Elijah Poindexter, who went 1-for-3 with one run.

Medina's victory bumped their record up to 17-3. As for Brunswick, their loss dropped their record down to 8-11.
