Softball Recap: Victor Picks Up Fourth Straight Win at Home

Victor had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 12-run drubbing they dealt Brockport on Friday. Victor never let Brockport get on the board and left with a 12-0 victory. Victor might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight games by six runs or more this season.

Kenadee Comstock was a standout: she went 2-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and two doubles. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April. The team also got some help courtesy of Ryleigh Fontana, who went 1-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Victor kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. They are 8-1 when they post 11 or more hits.

Victor pushed their record up to 12-8 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.8 runs on average over those games. As for Brockport, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-13.

As of now, neither Victor nor Brockport have any future games scheduled.
