Basketball Recap: Conotton Valley Skates Past Beallsville with Ease

Conotton Valley's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Beallsville Blue Devils 51-19. That 32 point margin sets a new team best for the Rockets this season.

Conotton Valley is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 3-5 record this season. As for Beallsville, their defeat was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Conotton Valley will face off against Buckeye Trail at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Buckeye Trail will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Conotton Valley surely won't give up without a fight. As for Beallsville, they will challenge Frontier at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Frontier is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 56.8 points per game this season.
