Marshall County had already won four in a row dating back to last season and they went ahead and made it five on Monday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Carlisle County Comets. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Marshals also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.
Marshall County's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Carlisle County, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 5-1.
Coming up, Marshall County will welcome Christian Fellowship at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Marshals are facing the Eagles at the right time seeing as the Eagles are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Carlisle County, they are taking a road trip to square off against Graves County at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
