Mason barely beat Roger Bacon the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Comets put the hurt on the Spartans with a sharp 3-0 victory on Tuesday. Winning may never get old, but the Comets sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Mason's win bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Roger Bacon, their loss ended a 12-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 5-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mason will face off against Colerain at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Roger Bacon, they will head out to face off against Summit Country Day at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
