Abington Heights won the last time they faced West Scranton and things went their way on Sunday too. The Comets blew past the Invaders 16-6. The result was nothing new for the Comets, who have now won 12 games by six runs or more so far this season.
Harshal Patel tossed a big game, tossing 4.1 innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits.
On the hitting side, Nick Bradley was incredible, going 4-for-5 with three runs, three RBI, and two doubles. Those two doubles gave him a new career-high. Conner Abel was another key player, going 2-for-4 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run.
Abington Heights kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in ten consecutive matchups.
