Soccer Recap: Douglass Comes Up Short

Douglass managed to slip by Forest Park the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Mighty Ducks came up short against the Foresters on Monday, falling 7-2. Douglass were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 3-0.

Douglass' loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Forest Park, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Douglass will welcome Mergenthaler Vo-Tech at 3:45 p.m. on October 8. As for Forest Park, they will host Lewis at 3:45 p.m. on Monday.
