Basketball Game Preview: Chattooga Indians vs. Pepperell Dragons

Chattooga is on a four-game streak of home wins, while Pepperell is on a three-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Chattooga Indians will welcome the Pepperell Dragons at 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither Chattooga nor Pepperell posted many points in their last games, so it might be the defenses that decide this one.

Chattooga will head into Monday's contest hoping to keep the good times rolling: they proved they can win big on Saturday (they won by 25) and on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. They never let South Atlanta onto the board and left with a 2-0 win. The two-point effort marked the Indians' lowest-scoring matchup of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Meanwhile, Pepperell came up short against Darlington last Friday, falling 44-24. The Dragons haven't had much luck with the Tigers recently, as the team's come up short the last eight times they've met.

Pepperell's loss dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Chattooga, their victory bumped their record up to 10-2.

Chattooga strolled past Pepperell when the teams last played back in November by a score of 57-41. Will Chattooga repeat their success, or does Pepperell have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
