Baseball Recap: 11 Straight Home Wins for Fowler

Fowler got themselves on the board against Chowchilla on Tuesday, but Chowchilla never followed suit. They blew past the Chowchilla Tribe 6-0. Winning may never get old, but the Redcats sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Fowler pushed their record up to 5-1 with the victory, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.3 runs over those games. As for Chowchilla, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fowler will challenge Pioneer Valley at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Pioneer Valley's pitching crew has only allowed 3.8 runs per game this season, so Fowler's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Chowchilla, they will take on Atascadero at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
