Volleyball Recap: Versailles Comes Up Short

Versailles lost against Butler back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Tigers fell 3-1 to the Bears. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Versailles started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 22-25, 25-18, 25-11, 25-11.

Versailles' defeat dropped their record down to 4-9-1. As for Butler, they pushed their record up to 14-1-1 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Versailles didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Lafayette County on the 27th. As for Butler, they will face off against Stockton at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
