Football Recap: Ingleside Snaps Four-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Ingleside's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They came out on top against the Banquete Bulldogs by a score of 28-21. That's more bragging rights for the Mustangs, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Ingleside's win ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-2. As for Banquete, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ingleside will venture away from home to square off against Ray at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Banquete, they will take on Santa Rosa at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Warriors' defense has only allowed 8.2 points per game this season, so the Bulldogs' offense will have their work cut out for them.
