Baseball Recap: Pawhuska Takes a Loss

Thursday just wasn't the day for Pawhuska's offense. They came up short against the Pawnee Black Bears on Thursday, falling 11-0. The Huskies were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Black Bears earlier this season, when they won 13-1.

Pawhuska has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record this season. As for Pawnee, their win bumped their record up to 5-17.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pawhuska will venture away from home to take on Caney Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Huskies are facing the Trojans at the right time seeing as the Trojans are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Pawnee, they will face off against Cleveland at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
