Patrick County is a perfect 7-0 against Dan River since April of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Cougars will take on the Wildcats at 5:00 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Patrick County is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They never let Radford get on the board and left with a 10-0 win. The Cougars haven't had any issues with the Bobcats recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, Dan River posted their closest win since March 28th on Thursday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 1-0 victory over Glenvar.

Dan River has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-7 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.6 runs on average over those games. As for Patrick County, they pushed their record up to 15-4 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Patrick County came out on top in a nail-biter against Dan River in their previous meeting back in March, sneaking past 7-5. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cougars since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
