Meanwhile, William Allen had to endure a six-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They walked away with a 51-39 victory over Thomas A. Edison on Wednesday. That looming 51-39 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for William Allen yet this season.
Hazleton Area now has a losing record at 2-3. As for William Allen, their victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-6.
