            Strayhorn hasn't had much luck against Senatobia recently, but that could start to change  on Thursday. The Strayhorn Mustangs will host the Senatobia Warriors  at 5:00  p.m. Strayhorn has given up an average of 8.2 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.
Tuesday just wasn't the day for Strayhorn's offense. They lost  16-0 to Cleveland Central on Tuesday. Having soared to a lofty 17  runs in the game before, the Mustangs' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.
Meanwhile, Senatobia was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight  defeat. They took  a  5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of Oxford.
 Kelsey Hoffman spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned  (and two unearned) runs on 11 hits and racked up six Ks. Those  hits marked the first that  she  allowed this season.
 On the hitting side, Senatobia saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Maci Claire Moore, who  scored two  runs while going 1-for-2. The dominant performance gave  Moore a new career-high in  runs.
 Strayhorn now  has a losing record of 4-5. As for Senatobia, their loss dropped their record down to 4-6.
