Baseball Preview: Severn School Admirals vs. Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cougars

The Severn School Admirals will challenge the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cougars at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Severn School is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.6 runs per game this season.

On Friday, Severn School needed a bit of extra time to put away McDonogh. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 10-8 win over the Eagles. The Admirals haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Brendan Szydlik made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Szydlik was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
