            Volleyball Recap: Centura Centurions vs. Gibbon Buffaloes        
        
		
        
        
            Centura won the last time they faced Gibbon and things went their way  on Monday too. The Centurions were the clear victors by  a  3-0 margin over the Buffaloes. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for the Centurions.
 Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-17,  25-6.

Centura's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but  Kennedy Davis led the charge by  getting eight  kills, seven  aces,  and one  block. Davis is  on a roll when it comes to  kills, as she's  now  had six or more in each of the last ten games she's  played. Another player making a difference was  Belle Taukiuvea, who  had 27 assists and three  aces.

Centura's win bumped their record up to 22-7. As for Gibbon,  they are  on  a  20-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 1-25.
 Centura didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  match,  a  3-0  victory against Ravenna on the 21st. As for Gibbon, they will venture away from home to  challenge St. Paul  at 5:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
